Is there a recording of Thelonious Monk with Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian?

I read an article in a magazine a few years ago (it may have been Downbeat), which had a story about Paul Motian. In the article he said that he and Scott LaFaro played a few gigs with Thelonious Monk. I was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this, and if so, recordings (bootlegs) exist?

Monk is certainly a little different haha that Evans …. if you find the answer to this let me know … it would be foolish.

Common vegetables that are grown in a garden are cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes and many more. Growing the vegetables yourself is wonderful, because then you know what chemicals or pesticides, if any, have been applied to plants. In addition, vegetables are eaten the same day they are made contain more nutrients in them than those who were taken several days or several weeks. However, a problem that you're likely to encounter when growing your own vegetable pests, including whiteflies. Learn to identify if you have whiteflies in your garden and how to control them.

Whiteflies are found mostly in the United States. They are small, measuring only 1 / 16 inch long with white wings that are almost as long as they are. The body of the whitefly is a light, creamy yellow and they have three legs on each side of their body.

You will find them in large numbers the underside of the leaves of cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes and other vegetables. whiteflies will do three things for the plants. One, they suck the juice of the plant. Two, they secrete a substance on the plant is sticky and sweet. This secretion can sometimes cause a black sooty fungus to grow. Three, they have also provide their eggs on the undersides of leaves. Once the eggs hatch, it takes about a month for them to move from larvae into an adult. Things the first two of your plants will be weak and do not produce as many vegetables as they should. The third point lead the situation to get worse in a very short period of time that most pests attacking your plants.

Take heart. Although whiteflies are bad for your garden, there are several ways to control them. These methods include:

• Spray affected plants with neem oil or oil paraffonic. This oil is specially formulated for plants and should be used for at least three weeks because whiteflies may be different stages of life cycle and the oil does not kill them at times of their life cycle.
• Use traps. These traps have a sticky side that prevents whiteflies leave. Simply place the trap near your factory and change once the sticky side is full of parasites. Not chemicals or pesticides are used, they are ideal for organic gardening. Best of all, the trap will also attract other pests, such as winged aphids, fungus gnats, thrips and more.
• Attracting or purchase of beneficial insects like ladybugs or lacewings. They love to eat whiteflies and leave your plants alone.
• Freezing temperatures. Do not worry if you live in a climate where it freezes during the winter. If you had an outbreak of a season, you do not have to worry about parasites survive the winter. The cold weather will kill them.
• Finally, the best way to get rid of parasites is not put in the garden to begin. When buying plants, check them more carefully any sign of illness. If you find one, do not buy the plant or nearby.

Whiteflies are a nuisance and damage plants. To ensure that your plants can survive an attack of whiteflies, it is preferable to present the situation as soon as you place whiteflies or see signs of damage. whiteflies are easy to remove, especially if you take them early.

Richly talented Smooth Jazz artist Richard Elliot has released his latest CD entitled Crush and Wow! It's good.

The CD opens with a track exceptional, Crush, which I expect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and rightly so. It's a really nice track.

Super talented Jazz artist Stanley Clarke has released the latest CD on the Epic recording label, entitled I Want to Play For You.

It is an extremely rare day that I get a CD from an artist that I can honestly say not a bad track in the bunch. I am more than happy to announce that's exactly what I have to say about it. There is simply no bad in the bunch. No filler at all here, with each song stands on its own.

The good thing about a CD like this when the talent is this rich even if jazz is not your favorite genre you still can not help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.

If you are a fan of Stanley Clarke, or just a jazz fan this is a CD your collection simply should not be without.

As travel writer for Dunhill Vacations, I get to write about some real far away places. As exciting as some escape Exotic Asia or a brand new all inclusive in the Dominican Republic, My favorite type of travel has always been cruising. I like the idea being a small town in the middle of the ocean. I like the sound of the surf and the smell of salt air heat.

I was initiated into the wonderful world of jazz there is a little over 4 years on vacation in St. Augustine, I stumbled upon a winery overlooking the oldest city in the United States in listening to jazz. This moment has never left and neither has my love of jazz.

As a big fan of Dave Koz, you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Koz 4th target = "_blank"> Annual Dave and friends at Sea cruise. I completely dropped the ball on the reports of this last year, but I'm back on the right foot. Dave Koz has been the first acts that I have never seen perform live, and it was worth. The way he handles the sax in "say" exactly what he wants to say is mind blowing, I spoke via Internet with a fellow fan who had disappeared two years ago cruising Dave and he said it was fabulous.

Some of Dave's friends include Eric Benet, George Duke, Najee (another of my personal favorites), Brian Simpson and other Grammy Award winning artists. They get the party started with stops in Grand Turk, St. Thomas, St. Barths and Half Moon Cay.

If you can not make it, there are also the great Marcus Miller hosted the first ever Playboy Jazz Cruise. From the earliest days of the inauguration of "Playboy After Dark" television show to the annual jazz poll in the magazine currently 30 Year old Playboy Jazz Festival, no one has done jazz better than Playboy.
