On the basis of two books written by the legendary man himself, "Cash: The Autobiography" and "Man in Black", "Walk the Line" is a biopic of the famous country singer, Johnny Cash. Recently, a film of this type was also released, depicting the life of sensation Jazz Ray Charles, played by Jamie Foxx, for which she won an Oscar.
Unlike Jamie Foxx, who looks like Ray Charles, Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the main role is not remotely think Johnny Cash. But what he lacked in facial similarity than compensated for his impeccable imitation of the guitar smear of desolation, appeal stage artist.
The film is titled after one of the lyrics of songs by Johnny Cash, who talks about the problems of the struggle against the temptations while married. The title corresponds to the film on cash, they also experienced the same difficulties as himself.
The influence Cash in other genres of music is not something you easily forget the world. With a huge base of fans around the world would not surprise me that this film manages to keep all the attention it deserves. Attention it deserves without doubt, as it is clearly one of the biopic films ever produced.
The film launches story begins with a scene from the prison where inmates applauded enthusiastically awaited by a musical performance. Joaquin Phoenix will appear on the screen, tracing with finger along the teeth of a chainsaw and reverse sequences following Cash's childhood in Arkansas. In 1940, there occurred an episode that became the Cash's life around. His older brother, Jack, died in a sawmill accident and his heartless father (Robert Patrick), who considered him as nothing, blame him. Cash then led to an interminable anguish.
The then, the film follows Johnny to his military service where he devotes his time to writing and composing songs who sings the hard life. After the service, he married his first wife, Vivian (Ginnifer Goodwin) and makes his living as a door to door salesman. His meager pay can not afford afford him a luxury lifestyle and state of impoverishment of life almost created a rift in the family. But everything changes when suddenly that auditions for producer Sam Phillips, whose Sun Studios caters to other artists like Elvis Presley (Tyler Hilton). A hearing with bandmates Marshall Grant (Larry Bagby), bass and Luther Perkins (Dan John Miller), guitarist, Phillips initially find your kind of music 'unbelievable' in a bad way. It was not until the first chords ripping Cash and sings the first letters of his own composed song that Phillips eventually signed under the seal of his study. With this success, Johnny soon joins Carl Perkins (Johnny Holiday), Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis (Waylon Payne), and June Carter (Reese Witherspoon) and made tours to his live audience in the South and in Canada.
This is the part where The movie begins by focusing on the love story of Cash and Carter. At first they become friends – that is the bedrock of their relationship – although the injured Johnny obviously craves more. But both are not available for the taking, Johnny is married and has daughters Vivian – reason enough to maintain what they have one for the other off. But despite divorced June and Johnny is abandoned by his wife, he still can not make his move on her, and in June is not immediately ready to foster a relationship with him.
Johnny dependence on amphetamines and alcohol, probably will not help to have the time June. His addiction drugs ultimately results in the health and financial problems. Alone and penniless, Johnny enlists the help of June. His conversion to born again in 1970 and rehabilitation to end their pill alcohol intake and alcohol consumption in days. Johnny attempts to regain control of his life, slowly getting back on the music scene and propose to June Carter. These important moments in life of Cash is shown continuously held until his performance Falsom prison in 1968.
The film is quite successful in provide an understanding of how music developed Johnny. All film allows us to see important events in the life of Johnny, therefore, without carelessly into account an essential aspect of the life of the legend. I feel that is crucial to show people how Johnny Cash became a revolutionary country music like his music provides the basis for other genres of music. It is also required that the film offers a deeper understanding of the country's historic achievements first pair, music wise.
Production could have done better if. Although the suits are very well done, makeup leaves much to be desired. They succeeded in transforming a box that nobody in country music legend box in terms of costumes, but not in the morphing Cash and Carter (and now that I think, even the rest of the cast) in its older versions (ie, older-looking). If not for the indication of the year in the bottom of the screen, probably I would say I'm watching a movie frozen in time.
But despite the failure of the film, James Mangold, but provides a biography normal in the brightness of pure film. It tells the story of life in a way that generates deep empathy and understanding of man. Manages to show us exactly what is being Johnny Cash.
The success of the film is to be attributed to its talented cast that did all of his singing and acting. No wonder Reese Witherspoon won the Oscar for best actress for her role in this film. Reese Witherspoon gave a magnificent performance as June Carter Sassy – his accent and good singing voice also adds impetus to their already fantastic performance. The same is true with actor Joaquin Phoenix, who is the imitation of deep bass sounds of Johnny Cash and imitation of stage movement cash of the firm is simply entertainment and satisfaction. Their onscreen chemistry is another factor for the success of the film.
It is often get to see a movie that is almost as impeccably produced to see "Walk The Line" is like having a whole new movie experience.

Of any Partch recording extant, it gives the best picture of the man–as the curmudgeonly, extremely innovative misanthrope that he was, as the composer who was impossibly unlike anyone else before or since.
