
Bharatanatyam is a classical dance form which states that the source of Tamil Nadu, South India. Most of the sculptures in Hindu temples are based on the dance Bharata Natyam postures known as Karan. In fact, the woman Apsaras or celestial dancers, who are represented in many scripts to perform this dance in heaven, on earth known as Bharatanatyam. In the most basic sense, a Hindu deity is worshiped in the real wealth in his temple and offers a standard set of religious services called arotiks between those who are music and dance that are pleasing to the senses. Bharata Natyam dance as a form of Carnatic music and states that are rooted in the state of spirit of devotion, Bhakti. Bharata Natyam is said to be the embodiment of music in visual form and an offering of devotion.
Bharatanatyam is the manifestation the old idea of the celebration of the eternal universe through the beauty of the material.
Physical expressions convey a sense of poetry known as Abinaya. This means that the emphasis is more on facial expressions than rhythmic movements. Abinaya is divided into four categories:
1. Angikabhinaya
2. Vachikabhinaya
3. Aharyabhinaya
4. Satvikabhinaya
Angikabhinaya: State the meaning of the lyrics by the parties the body including the head, hands, legs, etc.
Vachikabhinaya: To express the story through dance drama
Aharyabhinaya: Imitating the clothing, jewelry, makeup, etc in the dance.
Satvikabhinaya: Showing the devotional mood come in Satvikabhinaya.
Lord Shiva is said to is the embodiment of the 4 types of abinaya.
Kathak is a dance form in part, narrated on the basis of fast footwork (tatko), turns (Chakkar) and innovative use of devotional moods abhinaya. Today it is more than one form that has been practiced in the past by historical narratives, by kathak or ancient bards, temple of actions and the bhakti movement.
Kathak is a classical dance important in Indian culture and a world increasingly popular form performing arts. The word Kathak is derived from katha, meaning "pastime of stories." 'So Kathak Katha KAHAYA Kahey', meaning one that tells a hobby through a form of dance is a Kathak. Long ago, the performers of kathak Kathakars known as narrated stories in the temples of northern India. The movement of the hands, body and facial expressions used by the Kathakars to enrich the narrative, has given birth to Kathak.
According to history, the first reference of this gear is in the Mahabharata, the epic poem that speaks of some five thousand years ago. At this early stage the art of Kathak was performed by a group of Brahmins in the glorification of the Lord.
Change in the Age of Bhakti
During the fervent worship of Radha and Krishna, Kathak was used to relate the pastimes of these two personalities ever. Popular Shows include feats of Sri Krishna in the sacred land of Vrindavan, and hobbies the evils of Krishna as a child.
