In the United Kingdom for the past 18 years at least, an entire generation has been virtually deprived of musicians for a variety of reasons. The advent of computers being a standard household utility with their music production and accompanying music devices in downloadable format with widespread video and DVD technology has recently held a number of young within most of their leisure time. Coupled with rising overheads and prohibitive licensing fees and conditions imposed on UK platforms, such as pubs and restaurants at home living artists (or even playing recorded music), which aa had a devastating effect on professional musicians and artists potential. The big losers are the members of our generation younger – many of whom have never heard a live musician or band.

It is easy to see why, as in my live concerts lately I am often confronted with a young person, totally agape watching the live musician at work. They have undoubtedly become conditioned to accept the music as generated an impersonal and find it fascinating to witness the hand, live on musical creativity. Fortunately, this appears to be a source of inspiration effect. Having spent most of my career working with orchestras, theater and music major combos, I have recently returned to work many solo concerts as a cocktail pianist to play a variety of music styles, but often older standards such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, etc. The trick is not only am I now find I am being booked by the young as I first saw it a few years ago, but they want to I play the same style of music for their wedding reception or birthday party. It seems they have put in this kind of music being made in aware of it when I first played for them and they were so interested in him.

There is very little coverage on radio or television United Kingdom of any style of music other than commercial music the most recent. The sad thing is that if young people do not have the opportunity to attend other musical styles, because it is not in the mainstream programs and because live music is so rare, we are not giving them the chance to decide whether they like it or not. We have been creating a generation for many years which is monitored in its musical culture, when we should have give our young people much more choice.

A "major laws" of learning jazz is: You need to be simultaneously create your own music while studying tradition. Digging up the past is one of the most important things you can do as a player. It is the fuel your creativity. People are very Creative have just fed their minds with fuel for their creative fires. Now we'll talk about some practical ways you can dig into the tradition and feed your fire.

1. The list of historical reading. Start by choosing a subject to concentrate. For example, the printing time, articulation, phrasing, vocabulary, etc. Next create a list of a great player or a band of each period of 10 years of jazz in the twenties to today. To For example, you may choose an early registration of Louis Armstrong for 20 years, one of Count Basie for 30 years, Charlie Parker for 40 years, Charles Mingus for 50 and so on. You would then listen to the playlist daily for a month as part of your practice session daily. Everything listening ask concentrate on your subject. Notice how your subject has changed over the years from player to player. How did it stay the same? You'll start to notice a common thread through the tradition and you will also fulfill your creative source of ideas, concepts and information.

2. Check out the "in-between" guys. Miles and Trane are great. These are two of the greatest musicians to ever live. But they are not the only two musicians. There are literally thousands of big cats that popular history has seemed to forget for one reason or another. There is much to learn and benefit from the study of these lesser known only masters of jazz. And you'll be taking good ideas on a less crowded Creative Pool. Each of the controls on Miles and Trane. But not all out-or Booker Irvin Lennie Tristano. Start with sidemen of the largest you already know. Google them and find their discographies. Who else did they play with? Then ask who else has played with these musicians, etc. It is an endless quest. Do not miss Never music retrieve.

3. Choose a teacher to focus on. Another idea is to choose one player to concentrate. For example, you could have a "player of the month." Say you decide to focus on Lennie Tristano. For a month, you will spend a period of your practice session each day listen and consider Lennie Tristano. Buy a few of his recordings. Read a biography. Search YouTube video clips of him from the scene. Transcribe a solo. Emulate his articulation, phrasing, rhythmic feel, tone, dynamics, etc. Then, after a period with Lennie, go to someone else. Maybe go to a contemporary of Lennie. Or jump around in the tradition of, say, 1970, McCoy Tyner.

4. Exercise your creative muscle. I'll be a little metaphysical on you here. Many musicians and artists are kind of romantic. They are attracted by a face "mystery" of art. Well, I do no break for you, but there is no mystery or magic to creativity. Creativity occurs because you "create". Life is creativity. The universe is creativity. That is why we are all creative. To create are required to take action. Make a habit of creating something new every day. Write something, anything. This could be a melody, a bar, it could be pace, it could be a groove. Just create something. You can not expect an idea to strike from scratch. You must take action. Just do it. Overtime this creative process becomes easy and natural.

I love Jazz … but I need to find some new artists?!?

I listened to Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Oscar Peterson and Donald Byrd for a while and I'm looking for some future favorites … I am open to many different styles of jazz, then please throw some names around!

The first three answers you provide music that is nothing like what you hear. The answer Forth is very good and worth checking out. I think you'll like all the albums she has proposed. I suggest you try these ……. These albums I propose are easy to appreciate. These albums are perfect for all listeners, and they are all jazz classics. Miles Davis Kind of Blue album. It is a great album for a beginner, and it's great even if you've heard a lot of jazz. Get it. Thelonious Monk is another great and important master of jazz. I suggest you start with swings dream monk album.Monk the hardest of all jazz musicians, in my opinion little album. Roland Kirk The Inflated Tear really turned me on to jazz. I still love and respect. Grant Green Matador album is a great album, centered around the guitar, although McCoy Tyner is his best (player piano Coltrane band). This is another great album that is easy to love. Wayne Shorter's album Speak No Evil is a great album that you really hear. I can not even talk about it. The whole band is Amazing album. Herbie Hancock, Maiden Voyage is another great and easy to love this album. Freddie Hubbard is at its best through the whole album (on trumpet, fluglehorn). It is a concept album, and it works really flow like the sea, as Herbie she heard. Horace Silver plays piano with soul. The songs are great and so is the band. Everything works on this album called Song For My Father. It is another easy to like album too. Please trust these suggestions. These are classic albums. They are accessible to every listener. • On input and subset Faders: These micro controls are used to adjust all channels of audio. This makes possible adjustments minors. Adjustments are controlled by sliders in volume control.

While a configuration record is incomplete without an audio mixer, a blender powered audio is only a dream become reality for a technician registration.
